By popular demand, the Ohio University Alumni Association is now offering single session rates for all campus community members wishing to attend one or more of the academic sessions offered through this year's Alumni College. A three-day academic experience featuring some of Ohio's most-prominent scholars, Alumni College runs July 31 through Aug. 2 on the Athens campus.
Seven sessions led by Ohio University professors will be offered for $10 each. A planned economics debate between political strategist David Wilhelm, a 1977 Ohio University alumnus, and Distinguished Professor of Economics Richard Vedder will be open to the public, free of charge.
Space is limited, and reservations are required for all sessions.
Campus and community members wishing to participate in the full line-up of events on Saturday may purchase a single day pass for $100. The single day rate includes meals, transportation, entry to four academic sessions and evening entertainment, including wine tasting and rumba and swing dancing.
