Nominations for the 2008-09 Outstanding Administrator are due by 5 p.m. Friday.
Each year, Administrative Senate recognizes three administrators who have made significant contributions to the Ohio University community by granting them the Outstanding Administrator Award. Each recipient is honored at an awards ceremony, receives a certificate of recognition, has their name inscribed upon a plaque in Chubb Hall and receives $1,000.
Eligible nominees have to meet all of these minimum criteria:
- At least five years of consecutive service as a full- or part-time administrator at Ohio University, and currently serving as a full- or part-time administrator
- Administrative responsibility at any level (professional responsibility)
- A nine- to 12-month contract spending 50 percent or more time in administrative duties
- The president, vice president, executive vice president and provost, vice and associate provosts, secretary and treasurer to the Board of Trustees, deans and those eligible for Faculty Senate are not eligible for this award
