Funeral for Ghanaian student set for Jan. 24

A funeral service for College of Education doctoral student Albert Karikari Adusah is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, located at 24 Morris Ave. in Athens.
After the funeral, the family will host a reception at noon in New Life Assembly of God church, located at 10 S. Green Drive. In lieu of flowers, the family will accept donations at both events to help offset the costs of the funeral and burial.
Adusah, a native of Kumasi, Ghana, died unexpectedly in Brown Hall on Saturday, Dec. 27. He lived in the residence hall with his two daughters and wife, Augustina Adusah-Karikari, a residential coordinator on South Green.
