University to close Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day Jan 15, 2009
Ohio University will be closed Monday, Jan. 19, in observance of the national Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday. The closure includes all five regional campuses and the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
The university will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 20, operating under normally scheduled hours.
University and community organizations have planned activities in honor of King's legacy, including a silent march and commemorative brunch and service projects. Click here to see a full list of scheduled activities.
Latitude 39 and the West 82 food court in Baker University Center will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. During the holiday weekend, campus dining hall hours and other Baker University Center venue hours are subject to change. To obtain the official schedule (in PDF format), click here.
