The Administrative and Classified senates will meet Thursday to discuss a variety of issues.
At Administrative Senate, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management Craig Cornell will discuss strategic enrollment initiatives. Cost-saving strategies in university departments and a shared services update also will be discussed.
Senators will meet from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Baker University Center 240.
Meanwhile, Classified Senate will host its January meeting at 10 a.m. in Baker University Center 242.
Sari Bailey from the Payroll office will give a presentation on the soon-to-be-implemented Employee Self-Service module in Oracle. The module will permit online updating of employee personal information, the submission of data to the Human Resources and Payroll offices and reduce manual data entry and paper processes.
Luis Lewin, associate vice president for finance and administration for human resources, is scheduled to update the group on the latest happenings at the university involving his office. January's Classified Employee of the Month also will be announced.
