The Athens Community Child Care Partnership (ACCCP) and the Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD) are again offering free child care intake/referral sessions to the local community.
The intake/referral sessions are 30-minute, first offered last year, one-on-one meetings at which an ACCCP representative shares information about licensed child-care providers in the area.
ACCCP includes representatives from Ohio University, the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce and COAD whose mission is to improve access to child-care in the Athens area.
The next session will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, in Baker University Center 236. An ACCCP representative will contact registrants to schedule a 30-minute meeting within the session period.
