Sessions offer information on area child care

Jan 7, 2009

The Athens Community Child Care Partnership (ACCCP) and the Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD) are again offering free child care intake/referral sessions to the local community.

The intake/referral sessions are 30-minute, first offered last year, one-on-one meetings at which an ACCCP representative shares information about licensed child-care providers in the area.

ACCCP includes representatives from Ohio University, the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce and COAD whose mission is to improve access to child-care in the Athens area.

The next session will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, in Baker University Center 236. An ACCCP representative will contact registrants to schedule a 30-minute meeting within the session period.

For dates, times and locations of other upcoming sessions or to register, call 740-593-0065 or visit http://iliad.cats.ohiou.edu/html/adminsys/onlineseminar. After logging in, click on the Child Care link under the Center for Organization Development/Effectiveness header.
