Gov. Ted Strickland will visit Athens later this month for a "Conversation on Education" forum.
The forum will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, in the WOUB Center for Public Media, 9 S. College St. It will be broadcast live on WOUB.
The forums are an opportunity to provide feedback on Ohio's school funding system before the governor introduces his education reform and school-funding proposal in 2009. Throughout the summer, Strickland held 11 "Conversation on Education" forums that focused on the six principles for education reform as well as specific policy ideas.
Educators, business leaders, parents and students, among others, will make up the live studio audience.
