H1N1 influenza A planning update Aug 27, 2009
Ohio University continues to monitor the H1N1 influenza A outbreak. The university has a pandemic influenza response plan in place, which is guided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations for institutions of higher education. Recent updates to these recommendations are currently being reviewed by the university, along with continued planning with county health officials.
The safety of students, faculty and staff remains our top priority. At this time, we will continue our regular communication on the status of H1N1 influenza as it affects Ohio University through the university's emergency information Web page. Significant or time-sensitive changes to status will result in e-mail and/or Outlook communications as warranted.
