Chancellor to discuss proposed fee with student leaders Apr 29, 2009
Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor Eric Fingerhut will hold a videoconference with student leaders at Ohio University's Athens campus to hear their views about a proposed, university-wide network and Student Information System upgrade fee.
The conference will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30, in Copeland Hall 007. Ohio University's Chief Information Officer Brice Bible also will be present.
Students will have the opportunity to converse directly with Eric Fingerhut about the proposed fee and upgrades to the campus computer networks and the Student Information System. Because all students will pay the fee, the Ohio Board of Regents will have to approve it as an exception to the tuition and fee caps in place at the state level.
