The responsibility of developing the library's collections is shared by more than 20 librarians who serve as subject specialists to the university's various academic departments and colleges. Maxwell oversees these efforts.

CAT is an academic support facility available to faculty interested in instructional innovation – assistance in designing, developing and assessing instructional resource materials and technology-based tools and applications.

CWE offers faculty seminars and individual consultations that enable faculty to re-imagine the way they include writing in their courses. The center also supports faculty writing groups and initiates such programs as the Faculty-in-Residence.

CTL works collaboratively with members of the university community to enhance the connection between teaching and learning. The center offers workshops, brown bag discussion series, teaching observations, individual consultations and other programs and resources for faculty, teaching associates and instructional staff.
