Academic Action Plan Committee announces open forums

The university's Five-Year Academic Action Plan Committee has announced four open forums to gather input as it works to refine the Vision OHIO implementation plan.

The forums are set for:

• 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in Baker University Center Theatre
  
  
• 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, in Baker University Center Theatre
  
  
• 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct.  26, in Baker University Center 240 (with regional campus participation via Web cam)
  
  
• 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, in Baker University Center Theatre

The Vision OHIO implementation plan was presented in draft form at the Board of Trustees' Aug. 3 retreat. The Action Plan Committee will incorporate its recommendations into a summary document, due Nov. 15 to Executive Vice President and Provost Kathy Krendl. She will form recommendations that, along with a Budget Planning Council report, will go to President Roderick McDavis in late November. A final draft is to be presented to the Board of Trustees in December.
