Steps toward shared services

The project team hopes to have shared services in place at the university within the next two years. Here is a general timeline for implementation:

November 2007 - retain consultant to help gather data

December 2007 - hire director of shared services

Winter 2008 - collect data

Spring 2008 - identify functions to initially move to shared model, develop plan

July 2008 - implement limited number of shared services centers

July 2009 - fully implement shared services
