Faculty Senate meets tonight

Election of officers for 2008-09 is among the agenda items for tonight's Faculty Senate meeting at 7:10 p.m. today in Walter Hall 235.
The senate will hear from President Roderick J. McDavis, interim Executive Vice Provost David Descutner and Vice President for University Advancement Howard Lipman. A PDF file of Executive Vice President and Provost Kathy Krendl's written report is available on her Web site.
The senate also will hear the first reading of a resolution on an advising policy and second readings for resolutions about annual compensation, the faculty compensation initiative, health benefits surpluses and the evaluation of university administrators.
