Griffith replaces Danticat at festival May 7, 2008
Michael Griffith, a fiction writer and University of Cincinnati professor, will replace Edwidge Danticat during the Spring Literary Festival.
Griffith's works include "Spikes: A Novel" and "Bibliophilia: A Novella and Stories." His work has appeared in publications such as The Washington Post, Southwest Review, New England Review and Virginia Quarterly Review. He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Sewanee Writers' Conference and the Louisiana Division of the Arts. A summa cum laude graduate of Princeton, he is the editor of the Yellow Shoe Fiction series for Louisiana State University Press.
