Staff working to resolve phone problems

Mar 11, 2008

Office of Information Technology (OIT) staff are troubleshooting intermittent problems with the Athens campus' wired telephone system that began Monday morning. Individuals across campus report occasional dropped calls or instances when one party is unable to hear the other.

The continuing work will require a short telephone service disruption beginning at 6 p.m. today. OIT staff will work to restore service as soon as possible.

OIT asks that individuals experiencing multiple dropped calls report them to the OIT telephone operators at 740-593-1000.

OIT distributed an e-mail to the campus regarding this issue. For the latest information, visit the OIT outage information page.
