An open forum with the final candidate for the position of executive director of student health and counseling services is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 4.
A forum with Gerald Wilmes will be held from 1:45 to 2:30 p.m. in the Multicultural Center, Baker University Center 203. Wilmes is director of health services, medical director and emergency coordinator at Northwest Missouri State University.
Two other candidates have met the campus community. Alan Barnes, an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine, and Valerie Alloy, a clinical associate and psychotherapist in private practice with Larry
E. Hamme, Ph.D., and Associates, visited earlier this month.
As the chief health and counseling services administrator for the university, the executive director of student health and counseling services will play a key role in the formulation and implementation of strategic initiatives to improve and enhance health and counseling services. This is a new position that will report to the vice president for student affairs.
