Big weekend sees wins for swimming and diving, men's basketball

The women's swimming and diving team captured its 10th Mid-American Conference championship Saturday night at the University at Buffalo's Alumni Arena Natatorium.
Head Coach Greg Werner, who led the team to its third MAC title in 13 years at the helm, was named MAC Swim Coach of the Year for the third time in his career.
The weekend also featured the men's basketball team's thrilling come-from-behind 69-57 win over George Mason. The game -- the team's 500th at the Convocation Center -- aired nationally on ESPN2.
