Changes to Ohio University policy 40.028, which establishes procedures for classified and bargaining-unit employees to use three sick leave days as personal days per year, were approved Feb. 1. The policy will be effective 30 days after approval.

The most significant change, according to Jim Kemper, associate vice president for finance and administration for human resources, was the addition of a section explaining the notification procedures a classified employee must follow in order to use personal time.
