During Friday's 10 a.m. full board meeting, the trustees are expected to consider granting a land lease for National Church Residencies retirement community, renaming the School of Telecommunications the School of Media Arts and Studies and approval of four new academic programs. Other items up for board review include the board's amended bylaws and the appointment of board Chair C. Daniel DeLawder to The Ohio University Foundation Board of Trustees.

The board will hear presentations on several topics throughout the afternoon Thursday, including revisions to the policy for annual and comprehensive presidential performance reviews, a proposal for a new health center that would serve both students and University Medical Associates' patients, a draft of the Five Year Vision Ohio Implementation Plan, a report on University Communications and Marketing's Promise campaign, an Information Technology Improvement Plan, the Early Retirement Incentive Plan and the process for evaluating the performance of the board and its individual trustees.

The board's Executive, Resources and Audit committees will meet in executive session after their committee meetings to discuss personnel and/or property matters.

All of the board's committee meetings and its formal meeting are open to the public. Executive sessions are closed.
