Home-schooled students are encouraged to apply for the Ohio University-Chillicothe Summer Scholars Program. Students who are currently enrolled in the 10th or 11th grade, in both traditional classroom settings and those in home-school settings, are eligible for the program.
The Summer Scholars Program offers participants the opportunity to earn up to five college credits in a range of college freshman-level general education topics. It includes two five-week sessions, beginning June 18 and July 23
"Summer Scholars participants have the opportunity to gain new insights, improve themselves intellectually, meet other students with similar interests and earn college credit. It should be noted that the credits do not count toward high school graduation requirements," Diekroger said.
Interested individuals should contact Diane Diekroger, 740-774-7717 or diekroge@ohio.edu. Registration deadline is June 4.
