PACE proposal submission deadline
ATHENS, Ohio (Jan. 10, 2007) -- PACE Proposals for the 2007-08 academic year are now being accepted. The last day to apply for PACE funding is Monday, Feb. 5.
If you are looking for a student to help with some meaningful responsibilities in your department and you want someone else to pay their wage, then you might consider submitting a proposal to the Program to Aid Career Exploration (PACE). Proposals must be submitted at: https://www-sfa.chubb.ohiou.edu/cf/EMPLOY/PACE/EmpMainMenu.CFM
For more information about PACE and the application procedures, please attend our informational session from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Please e-mail vanmetem@ohio.edu if you plan to attend.
Proposals should be submitted as soon as possible. New proposals, as well as previously submitted proposals, are welcome.
Employers resubmitting proposals can do so by selecting "Proposals" and then "Re-Submit or Submit a New Proposal." Whether or not your previous proposal was funded this academic year, you may still view, edit and roll it forward at the above web site. If you have never submitted a PACE proposal, you will be prompted to create a new one. Please create all new PACE proposals in a Word document and then cut and paste it into the PACE proposal application.
The submission of a PACE proposal is not a guarantee that it will be funded. Even if you received funding in the 2006-07 year, you are not guaranteed funding for 2007-08.
Funding decisions will be made by the end of winter quarter. Students will begin applying to specific positions spring quarter.
