ATHENS, Ohio (Jan. 17, 2007) -- President Roderick J. McDavis will host the second Town Hall Meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, in the new Baker University Center Grand Ballroom.
"I enjoyed the dialogue that we began in the fall and I look forward to continuing our conversation," McDavis said. "I believe it is very important for us to come together and listen to what is on the minds of our colleagues and our students. These meetings give us an important opportunity to discuss issues that matter to us as a campus community."
|Webcast, e-mail enable regional campuses to join the discussion|
Faculty, staff and students at the regional campuses can participate in the University Town Hall meeting virtually. A live webcast of the University Town Hall Meeting will be available at http://streaming.cns.ohiou.edu/townhall/
In addition, they can submit their questions via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org during the 2 to 4 p.m. meeting.
McDavis said he hopes holding the forum in the Baker University Center will make it easier for more employees and students to attend. Faculty, staff, and students at Ohio University's five regional campuses will have the chance to pose their questions to the president and other university leaders via an e-mail link during the event.
