ATHENS, Ohio (Dec. 28, 2006) -- Ohio University will be closed Monday, Jan. 1, in observance of the national New Years Day holiday. The university will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 2, operating under normally scheduled hours -- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
University residence halls open for winter quarter on Monday, Jan. 1, at noon and the Housing Office will be open offering limited services from noon to 4 p.m. Students continue to return to the residence halls starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2. Classes begin for the Athens and regional campuses Wednesday, Jan. 3.
