ATHENS, Ohio (April 25, 2007) -- The executive committee of the Ohio University Board of Trustees met in executive session Tuesday at the Lancaster campus to discuss personnel issues, including President Roderick J. McDavis' annual evaluation. The committee did not take any formal action.
After the meeting, Chairman Greg Browning told reporters the board expects to follow an approach similar to last year's evaluation process, which included input from representatives of major campus groups, including the senates and deans.
"We stepped up the comprehensive nature of the evaluation. We met with key stakeholder groups," Browning said. "That approach makes sense. We'll set aside a whole day in May to bring in groups."
The president's evaluation will be complete by the end of the academic year.
