ZANESVILLE, Ohio (April 16, 2007) -- In keeping with its mission of serving the needs of the community and the students, the Zanesville Campus Library at Ohio University-Zanesville and Zane State College is sponsoring a Scholastic Book Fair April 16-20. The Library’s Curriculum Materials Center receives Scholastic products valued at a percentage of the sales.
The book fair is open to the public and provides an opportunity for families to have fun choosing books together, while stressing the importance of being a life-long reader. The benefits of the fair are many. Early childhood and elementary education students at the University have additional resources to assist in their studies.
“Our students, the community, and the staff have access to the materials we obtain as a result of the sale,” says Tracey Humphrey, coordinator for the book fair.
Customers will have the opportunity to purchase products for preschool, elementary and parents and get the same amount of books valued at the same or lesser value. The fair will be open Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Tuesday and Friday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Zanesville Campus Library supports students at both Ohio University – Zanesville and Zane State College, as well as members of the community.
