ATHENS, Ohio (Nov. 30, 2005) -- The Ohio State University Medical Center and Dr. Mark King are teaming up to host a concert to benefit The Christine Wilson Foundation and The Childhood League of Columbus at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3.
The concert, which will take place at Weigel Hall on the OSU campus, will feature performances by pianist Mark King, the Columbus Children's Choir and Denise Alexander.
The Christine Wilson Foundation was started in memory of the Ohio University student who was tragically killed in a Columbus house fire near the OSU campus on April 13, 2003. A Dublin, Ohio, native, Wilson died along with four of her closest friends, including two of her sorority sisters from Ohio University.
Her neighbors Mark King and Dean Knisley, sister Elizabeth Wilson and father Tim Wilson founded the foundation, which provides annual scholarships to Bishop Watterson High School students and supports other Columbus children charities.
