ATHENS, Ohio (Jan. 10, 2005) -- Actor/comedian Jeff Garlin, of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Daddy Day Care" fame, will perform his standup routine this Dads Weekend at Ohio University's Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium, Saturday Jan. 14. The show, which is sponsored by The University Program Council (UPC), will begin at 8 p.m.
Tickets for the show can be purchased at the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium Box Office. Student tickets are $6 and tickets for non-students are $8.
Before the show, students and dads can watch the Bobcats basketball team take on Central Michigan at 2 p.m. at the Convocation Center. Tickets are free for Ohio University students and $10-$20 for non-students. For tickets, call 1-800-575-CATS.
For those interested in the Athens music scene, the Black Student Communication Caucus, Black Student Cultural Programming Board and Young Black and Talented are sponsoring the Dads Weekend Biennial Jazzfest at 7 p.m. at the Baker University Center Ballroom.
The Ohio University School of Art will present a Ceramics Regional Art Show on Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Ohio University Art Gallery on the fifth floor of Seigfred Hall.
