ATHENS, Ohio (Feb. 22, 2006) -- Christopher W. Clark BBA '73, senior vice president of global sourcing at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, will present his lecture "Manufacturing Trends, 2006 and Beyond: What Manufacturers Need to Know to Become More Profitable in the Global Marketplace" on Monday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m. in the rotunda of Ohio University's Margaret M. Walter Hall. His lecture is another in the continuing College of Business Dean's Lecture Series.
Clark is a senior officer in this multi-national publicly traded company that ranks in the top 125 companies in the Fortune 500. He is currently responsible for all activities from procurement to manufacturing to global sourcing. He has previously served as president of Goodyear's Latin American region and as managing director of Goodyear Indonesia and Goodyear Brazil.
He has also held financial director positions in Guatemala, Australia, and Venezuela and served as an international auditor in Chile and in finance in Argentina.
