ATHENS, Ohio (Feb. 15, 2006) -- Ohio University- Zanesville's Women's Health Classes and Campus Wellness program will give the community an opportunity to look at the many health issues affecting millions of people each year. The health information fair will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 22, during the noon hour at Ohio University-Zanesville in the Campus Center Conference room.
"This event provides our students the opportunity to share what they have learned," says Sally Fusner, nursing instructor at Ohio University-Zanesville. "The students hope to increase awareness and educate the community about various health issues."
The health fair features student presentations, community health resource displays and more. Topics include:
- Alzheimer's Disease
- Domestic violence
- Depression and bi-polar disorder
- Breast and cervical cancer
- Pregnancy and birth control
- Premature birth and birth defects
- Heart Disease
- Nutrition and Eating Disorders
