ATHENS, Ohio (Feb. 21, 2006) -- Candy Goodwin was honored at the Classified Senate's monthly meeting as Ohio University's Classified Employee of the Month for January, 2006. Goodwin is a Senior Printing Machine Operator and has been with Ohio University for ten years.
Goodwin was nominated for the award by Alexis Cline, Employee and Labor Relation's Specialist in HR. "I have worked with Candy for many years and I have always found her customer service and attention to detail skills to be truly outstanding," says Cline. Goodwin strives to work with her customers to resolve any issue such as cost, kinds of paper and the perfect layout.
When asked what she likes most as an Ohio University employee, Goodwin says the wonderful opportunity to work and grow. Additionally, Goodwin enjoys the community involvement throughout Ohio University and Athens.
This monthly award is made based on nominations submitted by members of the university community for any classified employee who is setting standards for excellence and innovation by promoting unity, community, continuity and visibility.
