ATHENS, Ohio (Dec. 19, 2005) -- Ohio University will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26, in observance of the national Christmas Day holiday. Christmas Day is Sunday, Dec. 25, which will be observed on Monday, Dec. 26. Also, the university operates under a floating holiday schedule and will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, as an observance of Presidents Day.
The university will reopen Tuesday, Dec. 27, operating under regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The New Year's Day holiday will be observed Monday, Jan. 2. The Kennedy Museum of Art will close Dec. 23 and remain closed during the holiday period, reopening Tuesday, Jan. 3.
