ATHENS, Ohio (March, 16 2007) -- Ohio University has announced the dates of its Family Weekends and Homecoming for the 2007-08 academic year.
Dates that are scheduled for next year are:
- Parents Weekend: Sept. 28-30, 2007
- Homecoming: Oct. 12-14, 2007
- Dads Weekend: Jan. 25-27, 2008
- Sibs Weekend: Feb. 8-10, 2008
- Parents Weekend: Feb. 22-24, 2008
- Moms Weekend: May 2-4, 2008
Family Weekends are a special part of the Ohio University experience. "Ohio University knows that family time is most important to many people, so we put a lot of effort into making sure our family weekends are fun and exciting," said Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs Anne Lombard. "Our goal each year is to make sure these weekends are memorable for all parents and students."
Homecoming offers alumni an opportunity to show their green and white pride. "Homecoming weekend is one of the most exciting times in Athens," said Executive Director of Alumni Relations Ralph Amos. "It gives alumni the opportunity to reconnect, and it provides everyone else the chance to participate in a wide variety of festive events."
