For the second year in a row, an Ohio University professor has been cited for innovative teaching.
Associate Professor of English Loreen Giese was recognized in Ohio Magazine's December issue, which applauds the efforts of educators both in and out of the classroom.
Giese was singled out for her enthusiastic teaching style, innovative delivery of content and commitment to mentoring students. She fosters a distinctive learning environment that nurtures the development of students, allowing them to achieve their full potential. Giese's teaching specialties include Shakespeare, modern drama and early modern law. She's taught at Ohio University for 13 years.
Director of the School of Interdisciplinary Arts William Condee was recognized last year.
