ZANESVILLE, Ohio (April 7, 2005) -- In keeping with its mission of serving the needs of the community and the students, the Zanesville Campus Library at Ohio University-Zanesville and Zane State College is sponsoring a Scholastic Book Fair from April 11 to 15. The Library's Curriculum Materials Center receives Scholastic products valued at a percentage of the sales during the fair.
"The book fair is open to the public and provides an opportunity for families to have fun choosing books together, while stressing the importance of being a life-long reader," says Tracey Humphrey, coordinator of the event. "Our students, the community, and the staff have access to the materials we obtain as a result of the sale."
This spring's event kicks of National Library Week. Customers will have the opportunity to purchase products throughout the week and sign up for a raffle to win free items and materials from Scholastic. The fair will be open Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Zanesville Campus Library supports students at both Ohio University-Zanesville and Zane State College, as well as members of the community.
