ZANESVILLE, Ohio (Oct. 14, 2004) -- Guitar soloist, Robert Gruca, is set to perform in the auditorium of Ohio University Zanesville campus on Thursday, Oct. 21, at noon. The event is free and open to the public. Gruca has been recognized as one of the most talented young musicians in the country. A recent prize winner of several competitions, he has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra and currently teaches for the Cleveland Institute of Music.
Gruca holds a Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree from Grand Valley State University. He will also be the featured guest soloist with the Southeast Ohio Symphony Orchestra at a concert scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 31, at 7:30 p.m., at Brown Chapel on the Muskingum College campus. Students can attend the concert at no charge with their student ID’s.
