ATHENS, Ohio (June 7, 2005) -- Vicki Stewart was honored at the Classified Senate's May monthly meeting as Ohio University's Classified Employee of the Month for May 2005. Stewart is an Administrative Assistant for the Lasher Learning Center in the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism.
Stewart was nominated for the award by Nell Ann Kittle, her immediate supervisor. Kittle praises Stewart's job performance as detail oriented and professional. "She sets high standards for herself," says Kittle. Stewart participated in the Classified Staff Development Program last year and attends seminars and workshops whenever possible.
When asked what she is most proud of as an Ohio University employee, Stewart states that it is having the opportunity and pleasure to work in the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, which is one of the top five journalism schools in the nation. Stewart's dream job is one in which she could work with her husband and her children. Stewart describes herself as being honest, reliable and happy.
