ATHENS, Ohio (March 17, 2005) -- Members of the Ohio University community will have the opportunity to interact with candidates for the position of provost during open forums scheduled on campus. Each forum will be held at 4 p.m. in the Baker University Center Ballroom, followed by a brief reception.

Each candidate will give an opening statement followed by a question-and-answer period.

The dates of the forums and names of the candidates are:

• Tuesday, March 29: Carol Kellett, Dean, College of Human Ecology, Kansas State University
  
  
• Thursday, March 31: Kathryn Seidel, Dean, College of Arts and Sciences, University of Central Florida
  
  
• Thursday, April 7: Kathy Krendl, Interim Provost, Ohio University

The forums are being held on the first day of a two-day campus interview by each candidate.
