ATHENS, Ohio – The Presidential Task Force on the Future of Ohio University has rescheduled its March 17 open forum for the local community. The forum will now be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, at the Athens Community Center on E. State Street. Ohio University interim Provost and chair of the task force, Kathy Krendl, will use the forum to update the audience on the progress of the university’s strategic planning project.
The task force, which consists of 46 people who represent constituent groups on campus, is responsible for identifying a vision for the university in the 21st century.
In a related matter, Ohio University will debut a new “Vision Ohio” component to its Outlook Web site on Monday, March 14. The addition can be viewed by visiting www.ohio.edu/outlook.
