ATHENS, Ohio (Oct. 8, 2004) -- WOUB-TV will air an Ohio Senate 20th District Debate on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. The program will feature candidates Joy Padgett and Terry Anderson, along with representatives from the local media, including: Wendy Van Sickle, The Athens Messenger; Nick Clausen, The Athens NEWS; Kyle Kondik, The POST; and Fred Kight, WOUB News. Sponsored by the Athens County League of Women Voters, the debate will air on both WOUB-TV and on WOUB-FM Athens. Tim Sharp, WOUB news director, will moderate the debate while Tim Foran from the League of Women Voters will be the time keeper.
Questions for the debate were sent in advance by community members to the Athens County League of Women Voters, as well as from the four members of the media.
