Scott Quad plumbing project

Please notify the campus community that contractors will be working on sanitary sewer lines and vents located within Scott Quad this summer. This will require the temporary closing of restrooms located in various quadrants of the building, and some noise during demolition should not be unexpected. The locations of alternate restrooms will be posted. Stakeholders with materials stored in these restrooms are asked to remove items by Monday, June 15, 2004. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our valued customers. Facilities and Auxiliaries regret any inconvenience this project may create and thank you for your patience. West Green paving projects

Two major paving projects will commence after graduation, June 14, 2004. The projects are: West Green Drive Rehabilitation and Central Food Facility Pavement Replacement.

The West Green Drive Rehabilitation Project will start by Grosvenor Hall and extend to Parks Hall. The current entrance to the OUCOM Clinic Parking Lot will be closed. A temporary entrance will be made available, watch for the detour signs. The dock at Grosvenor Hall will be affected. Paving work will begin at Grosvenor and progress to Parks. Avoid the area if possible, watch for detour signs and construction equipment. Work in this area will take two to three weeks to accomplish.

The Central Food Facility Pavement Replacement Project will be located at the docks of the facility. No more than three docks will be closed at one time. Work will start at the west and progress eastward. Avoid the area if possible, watch for detour signs and construction equipment. Work in this area will take five to six weeks to accomplish. Contact the Ohio University Engineering & Technical Support Department for questions or comments at 593-0269. 

Bromley Hall closing for summer projects

Please notify the campus community that Bromley Hall will be closed for mechanical repairs and upgrades beginning June 14. Access to the building and parking lots will be restricted to authorized personnel only.

Please note the Barbershop, Conference Services, Emblem Cub Banquet, Ohio University Without Boundaries and University Apartments will be open for business as usual and should be unaffected by this work.

The building will reopen in late August.
