• OUCTM will be hosting a special guest this March. Stay tuned for further details.
• Ten of our members recently attended the 2012 NCTM Conference in April, which this year was held in Philadelphia, PA.

 

• Two of our members, Miss Ryan Davis, and Mr. Zach Graves presented with other CAT Scholars at the 2011 CAT symposium which took place Saturday Sept. 17th.

• A couple of our members attended a Geogebra presentation on Saturday Sept. 10, 2011 led by Dr. Todd Edwards and Mr. Steve Phelps.  This event turned out to be quite a learning experience where participators went from beginners to experts.
  

• Several members of our club recently attended the National Conference in Indianapolis this past April 2011.

Six members of OUCTM attended the National Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah in the Spring of 2008. There were many gracious financial grants that made this trip possible.  

OUCTM's President was awarded the Prospective Secondary TeacherCourse Work Scholarship. The grant is awarded by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and funded by the Texas Instruments Demana-WaitsFund. Marissa was one of only three people awarded this scholarship, which is aworthy tribute to Marissa as a talented educator as well as a great president.
