In the event that more than one Ohio University applicant responds per college, an internal review committee will be convened to select the most competitive application to go forward from each NSF eligible college to NSF on behalf of Ohio University.

National Science Foundation - Increasing the Participation and Advancement of Women in Academic Science and Engineering Centers (ADVANCE) (NSF 09-504) NOTE: Ohio University is limited to one Institutional Transformation proposal OR one IT-Catalyst proposal. An internal competition conducted in November, 2008, did not generate a proposal so ORSP is sponsoring a second internal competition. ADVANCE has three program components:1) Institutional Transformation (IT), 2) Institutional Transformation Catalyst (IT-Catalyst), and 3) Partnerships for Adaptation, Implementation, and Dissemination (PAID). While there is no limit on the number of PAID proposals that can be submitted, the mandatory letter of intent deadline has passed for FY2009's PAID program.
To manage these limitations for the IT and IT-Catalyst components, please e-mail Shane Gilkey, Assistant VP for Research, gilkeys@ohio.edu (with a copy to orsp@ohio.edu ) indicating your interest in applying and the program component (IT or IT-Catalyst) as soon as possible and no later than July 16, 2009. In the event that more than one Ohio University applicant responds for the two restricted components, an internal review committee will be convened to select the most competitive application to go forward to NSF on behalf of Ohio University.
