Students starting classes Summer Semester 2014

First-Year and Transfer Orientation: 1st Summer Session Friday, May 9, 2014
First-Year and Transfer Orientation: 2nd Summer Session Friday, June 27, 2014

First-year students and students transferring from another institution for summer semester will attend a one-day orientation session on Friday, May 9, 2014, or Friday, June 27, 2014. Attendance is mandatory, and registration will be available online through My OHIO, https://my.ohio.edu. 


Students starting classes Fall Semester 2014-2015

Relocate Day: March 21, 2014

Relocate Day is for Ohio University students relocating from an Ohio University regional campus to the Athens campus for fall semester. Registration is now open and closes on Monday, March 17, 2014. Visit the Regional to Athens page for more details.

Transfer Program: June 16 or 23, 2014

Students transferring from another institution to Ohio University will attend a day-and-a-half orientation session on the dates listed above. Registration to attend is required and will be available through your My OHIO portal, https://my.ohio.edu, between April 1, 2014 and June 23, 2014. First-Year Program: June 4 - June 26, 2014

First-year students will attend a one-and-one-half day orientation session during the three weeks listed above. Fifteen sessions will be held during this three week period, with a new session beginning most days Monday through Friday. Only students who have been accepted to Ohio University, and who have completed their housing contract and paid their housing deposit will be able to register online beginning April 1, 2014. Students will register through their My Ohio Portal, https://my.ohio.edu, and is available April 1, 2014 through June 23, 2014. Students and family/guests will have the opportunity to stay overnight on campus during orientation. Visit the First-Year Student Orientation page for more details.

OPIE Academic Orientation: March 19, 2014

International students involved in the Ohio Program of Intensive English (OPIE) will attend a one-day program to learn about their academic requirements, as well as hear about academic resources that will benefit them as they begin their academic career.
