First-Year students and students transferring from another institution for summer semester will attend a one-day orientation session on Friday, May 10, 2013, or Friday, June 28, 2013. Attendance is mandatory, and registration will be available online through My OHIO, https://my.ohio.edu. Additionally, admitted students will receive an invitation package from the Office of Orientation Programs through the mail.

Students transferring from another institution to Ohio University will attend a one-day orientation session on Thursday, July 11, 2013 or Friday, July 12, 2013. Registration to attend is required and will be available through My OHIO, https://my.ohio.edu, beginning Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Additionally, accepted students will receive an invitation package from the Office of Orientation Programs through the mail.
First-Year students will attend a one and one-half days orientation session during the three weeks between Monday, July 15, 2013 and Saturday, August 3, 2013. Fifteen sessions will be held during this three week period, with a new session beginning each day Monday through Friday. Only students who have been accepted, and who have completed their Housing contract and paid their Housing deposit will be able to register online beginning Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Registration is a first-come first-served system through My Ohio, https://my.ohio.edu. Students and family/guests will have the opportunity to stay overnight on campus during orientation. Students who have completed the application process (including Housing) will receive an invitation package from the Office of Orientation Programs through the mail.
