Facts About Bobcat Student Orientation Summer 2010
- Bobcat Student Orientation is a requirement.
- Orientation information will be mailed mid-May.
- Information will be mailed only to those students who have secured a housing contract or are transferring with more than 90 credit hours.
- Instructions on how to secure your Orientation reservation will be available on-line.
- No phone reservations are accepted.
- Each Transfer Orientation session lasts one day. Each First-Year Orientation session lasts one-and-a-half days.
- Overnight accommodations are available for Transfer students by calling 740.566.9700. Overnight accommodations for First-Year students are available and reservations are made online.
- For those unable to attend one of the summer dates, a fall orientation will be held on September 4. Registration for this date will be made available August 17, 2009.
- Ohio University uses the student's ACT/SAT score to determine math placement. If you did not take the ACT/SAT and you did not transfer math credit, you will be required to complete the online placement exam.
