The Ohio Women's Crew team would like to extend condolences to the family of Rebecca Skorupka, former member of OUWC. It is a tragedy to have a person so special taken from us so soon. We will forever hold her memory in our hearts.
Our team started out in 1995 as a co-ed crew, but then in 1997 the women
created their own club team. Although the team is a club, we compete against
some of the best Division I schools in the country. Our team practices
at Stroud's Run State Park in Athens, Ohio. We compete during Fall
and Spring Quarters while training year round. In addition to being
successful in our sport, OUWC was Club Sports Team of the Year in
2005 and Fundraising Club of the Year in 2003 and 2004.
