Most of the women on our team have no prior rowing experience when they join. New women are always welcome! The team is simply looking for hard working, driven athletes who want to be a part of history!

Where do you practice?

The team practices on Dow Lake located in Stroud's Run State Park, during the fall and spring seasons. Strouds Run is about ten minutes from campus. In the winter, the team practices in the Charles J. Ping Student Recreation Center which located on Ohio University's campus.

What are the races like?

Rowing races are called regattas. Fall races are known as head races and spring races are called sprint races. There are numerous spots along the course to watch racing action. Regattas are extremely fun, but prepare for a very long day.
