Faculty Fellowship

Purpose

ROC exists to glorify Jesus through developing dynamic communities that show and tell His gospel at Ohio University.

In hosting the Faculty Fellowship in partnership with Campus Crusade for Christ, we seek to bring faculty together for: Christian Community, Christian Spiritual Formation and Christian Witness.

You are welcome!

If you would like to connect with other Christian faculty members for lunch, discussion and prayer each week, Faculty Fellowship is for you.  You are welcome to join us on Wednesday at noon in the “ROC House” (the office suite for Reach Out on Campus).

We realize your time is precious.  That is why we keep our lunch meetings to one hour.  Please put the fellowship lunch on your calendar and join us!

Bring your lunch

We assume everyone has to eat.  But we don’t provide the food!  Our lunch times are brown bag affairs so whatever you pack or buy, you eat.

Faculty encouragement

Part of the idea behind the fellowship lunch gatherings is that we all need encouragement.  The best folks to encourage you are those who understand what you’re dealing with.  That is why we seek to encourage faculty to meet together to spur one another on in following Jesus here at Ohio University.

Journey together

The folks who meet together for lunch are tenured, not tenured, women and men from a variety of departments.  We’re all pretty laid back and the lunch time is an enjoyable time of laughter and building relationships that help each other as followers of Jesus.  We discuss everything from issues of culture and specific OU issues to matters of Christian discipleship.  We’d love to have you join us.
