Quad Rugy pay to play tournament!
Presented by the Ohio University School of Physical Therapy.
See the members of the Buckeye Blitz play from 10 AM to 6 PM in the Grover Gymnasium.
Cost: $75 for 30 minutes of court time per team of 4-6 which includes 4 t-
shirts. Additional shirts can be purchased on the registration sheet. Checks
can be made payable to Four-Play! Quad Rugby.
Registration: Sign-ups beginning the week of February 15th. Tables will be set
up at Baker and Grover Centers from 12-1 pm or registration can be dropped off in the
School of Physical Therapy, Grover W290.
Description: Quad Rugby, also known as wheelchair rugby, is a competitive,
fast-paced, official sport of the Paralympic games and is played across the
world by thousands of quadriplegic athletes. The sport has gained popularity
following the release of the Academy Award nominated documentary, Murderball.
Purposes:
Raise awareness of those with disabilities within the Athens community
Raise funds for the team to buy new wheelchairs and travel
