I welcome spring with both excitement and anticipation as I leave POISEfashion in the hands of my Vice President and Senior Editor Jen Ator, while I study abroad in Provence. Although it's hard to leave my organization and publication behind, I have full confidence in Jen, and know that she will represent our magazine with nothing but POISE.

We have oodles of exciting things planned while I am gone - most important is our first official rendition of the POISEfashion Spring Training Program, which prepares current and future staffers for a full-time position at POISE.

During my absence, POISE also will be continuing its efforts to extend the POISEfashion network to universities across the country, starting with the 109 of those who are home to Accredited J-Schools. In addition to a growing network, POISE will be working toward raising its level of professionalism by forming relationships with local businesses, advertising and marketing firms, and publishing companies, as well.

Future projects aside, we have a fabulous issue this spring, loaded with fashion tips and quizzes, health and beauty trivia, hot entertainment happenings, and great advice about life&love.
