Although there has been record of a club lacrosse team at Ohio University dating back decades, the Ohio University Men's Lacrosse Team was named a club sport at OU in 1991 through the Department of Campus Recreation. The team has made considerable progress since that time, more specifically in the past seven years. The 'Cats have appeared in the NCLL (National College Lacrosse League) National Tournament numerous times making a name for themselves as a league powerhouse. The team prides itself in its on-the-field competitiveness and its service to the Athens community, more specifically Ohio University.

The team currently works with Harrow Sports, Inc., SchoolPride, Inc. and Wave One Sports, Inc. for all of their lacrosse gear and apparel needs. We would like to extend a huge thanks for all of the help!

The team has also worked with Malley's Chocolates and Harrow Sports, Inc. in fundraising efforts. We would also like to extend a huge thanks for all the help!
