There was a good number of people at our first meeting (over 50!).

We officially started the meeting at 7:13 with Obi (President) giving a brief overview of what the club is about and what it means to be a member.

Next we went around the room giving introductions (giving our names, year, major, and favorite thing about japan: favorite anime character, japanese food, japanese game, etc.).

Next Grab Bag night was explained and series were nominated. After an explanation/summary of each nominated series, we put it to a vote. While votes were being tabulated, Jon Maple announced a "after the meeting" trip to O'betty's for all those interested. We then progressed into QnA2k and round table. Once the votes were tabulated, the following series got voted in:

Cowboy Bebop

Two series tied for the cut off: Densha Otoko and Chrome Shelled Regios We did a tie-breaker vote and Densha Otoko came out the victor!

After the Grab Bag showing shows were announced, ___?____ motioned we adjourned, ___?___ seconded the motion, and the meeting was adjourned.
